Chroma’s 61700 Series Programmable AC Power Source provides pure, 3-phase, 5-wire power. Unlike the traditional three-phase AC power source, it offers rated power models at very low cost. Users can program voltage and frequency, measure critical output characteristics on the LCD display.

It offers the right solution for simulating all types of Unity under test inlet conditions that will be used in Research & Development and Quality Assurance.

It is also suitable for commercial applications, from laboratory testing to mass production.

The 61700 range provides the output voltage from 0 to 300 V AC and it can be set individually for each phase. Users can also set the phase angle from 0 to 360°. These types of functions allow the 61700 series to simulate a three-phase power imbalance. Due to the wide output frequency of 15 to 1200 Hz, it is suitable for avionics, maritime and military applications.

AC+DC mode extends the output function to simulate an abnormal situation when a power line contains a DC offset.

The 61700 series uses state-of-the-art PWM technology, so it can generate a very clean AC output, with typical distortion of less than 0.3%. With a power factor correction circuit, the 61700 series is more efficient and provides more output power.

By applying advanced DSP technology, the 61700 series can provide fast and accurate measurements such as RMS voltage, RMS current, real power, power factor and current crest factor.

These power supplies are very robust and reliable, for this reason, LEASAMETRIC offers them for rental (5 models in stock). They are also very popular with customers.
