The NI PXIe-1082 eight-slot chassis features a high-bandwidth backplane with PXI Express capability in every slot to meet a wide variety of high-performance test and measurement and control application needs.
It is ideal for high-speed measurements, data streaming, and high-channel-density system solutions. Its compact form factor and optional portable LCD monitor and keyboard accessory make the NI PXIe-1082 ideal for portable applications.
The chassis provides the full power of 507 W across the entire 0 to 55 °C extended temperature range, a feature National
Instruments offers on all NI high-performance chassis.
The NI PXIe-1082 is compa tible with both PXI Express and CompactPCI Express modules. In addition, this chassis features four hybrid slots, which provide the added compatibility with standard PXI and CompactPCI modules.
The chassis also incorporates all of the timing and synchronization features defined by the latest PXI specification, including a built-in 10 MHz reference clock, PXI trigger bus, and PXI star trigger as well as a built-in 100 MHz reference clock, SYNC 100, andPXI differential star triggers for PXI Express modules.
