Designed for FlexRIO based data acquisition systems, the NI PXI-7951R (Part Number: 780560-01) is a Reconfigurable PXI Module with an integrated LX30 FPGA.
The reconfigurable FPGA utilized in the construction of this module is from the Virtex-5 family of FPGAs. This PXI FPGA Module for FlexRIO comes featured with 32 DMA Interrupt Channels and 3 DMA Channels. The 66 GPIO (general-purpose I/O) paired channels of this module can be configured through software to operate as 132, independent, single-ended channels.
Up to 400 megabytes per second single-ended (SE) configuration rates are possible with this module.
The NI PXI-7951R fully supports FPGA base clocks, arbitrations, as well as the timed loop (single cycle). The FPGA incorporated in this module can be accessed and configured with the help of the NI LabVIEW FPGA Module and has 128 kilobytes of embedded block RAM. The PXI-7951R can also be coupled with the National Instruments NI-6581 Adapter Module to fulfill the requirements of 100 MHz digital I/O.
