The Smartwave™ (SW) series of ELGAR alternative energy sources offers possibilities for creating three-phase power waveforms for power line disturbance simulation tests.

Three separate arbitrary waveform generators Smartwave™ allow the creation of waveforms on all three phases simultaneously from DC (up to 312V) with low distortion (THD 0.25% at 100 Hz), low noise and ripple, as well as comprehensive compliance testing for EMC applications and avionics standards. They can be controlled via a GP-IB and RS-232 port.

The power can be increased to 20 KW by coupling several power supplies. Maximum power can be maintained up to 45°C.
