The MS2089A Site Master completely redefines the standards for portable handheld analyzers, setting another industry benchmark for performance and accuracy.

It is a spectrum, cable, and antenna analyzer that integrates the most commonly used instruments of RF field technicians into a single package.

Configured as a 5 kHz to 4 or 6 GHz cable antenna analyzer with a 9 kHz to 4 or 6 GHz spectrum analyzer, the MS2089A-0704/0804 weighs less than 8.5 lbs. and has an IK08 10-inch touch screen. That means less to carry and only a single user interface to learn, making time in the field more productive.

It features built-in PDF/HTML reports, a fast sweep mode, and 10,049 data points.

The analyzer performs measurements like return loss, VSWR, cable loss, and distance-to-fault, which are crucial for applications spanning VHF, broadcasting, cellular, GPS, WLAN, and more. Plus, TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) Measurements which pinpoint faults in cables with impressive accuracy, helping field technicians troubleshoot issues efficiently. *TDR Measurements are supported when purchased with an optional keycode (see attached Technical Data Sheet for ordering information).

The MS2089A feature of a Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer (RTSA) makes it ideal for capturing short duration and digitally modulated signals that can be hard to identify in standard spectrum analyzer mode. In short, the RTSA enhances the interference hunting capability of the analyzer.

There are additional measurements of the Spectrum Analyzer, which include IQ capture/streaming, LTE FDD/TDD, and 5GNR FR1.

The MS2089A Site Master is also at home in the lab as well as the field. For use on the bench, the hard case with rubberized easy-grip bumpers and an integrated kickstand make the Site Master MS2089A the ideal instrument for general-purpose lab measurements where portability and space are at a premium.
